GRACELESS magazine #1 http://realicide.bigcartel.com/produ...ess-magazine-1
Graceless is a journal of the radical gothic. 117 pages of articles, interviews, and photography. Discover bold new manifestos, read of our predecessors and help us ponder what greatness the dark scene might aspire to in the future.
When we say “radical,” we are not speaking of a specific ideology, but we’re not talking about politics like who’s gonna vote for whom. Radical means, to us as well as the dictionary, “affecting the fundamental nature.” We’ve as little interest in mainstream politics as we do in mainstream culture. We’re looking to transform our society and our lives on a fundamental level. And while we are not interested, as a journal, in promoting one specific methodology, our focus will be, broadly, anti-authoritarian and probably tinged with left and post-left ideas. We are staunchly opposed to fascism and right-wing politics in general.
Everything dark belongs to us. When we say “gothic,” we don’t mean to speak to a specific little sub-category of a genre. Musically, we mean industrial, gothic, darkwave, coldwave, neo-folk, powernoise, alt-country, EBM, futurepop, black and gothic metal. We mean genres that don’t exist and we mean music that hasn’t been made yet. We’ve interest in the occult and we’re interested in the cold, dark of atheism. We’re interested in the Romantics and of course, the gothic.

EVOLVE "REALITY GUERRILLA" cassette http://realicide.bigcartel.com/produ...rilla-cassette
This is an undeniably dark and socio-politically radical hip hop mix tape, the 6th full length Evolve release since its conception in 2002. Created summer 2010 through early 2011 in Cincinnati, REALITY GUERRILLA continues the project's emphasis of the cut-up approach to daily life and decisions, however in this work production is sharper and more reliant on chopping breakbeats and sampled music rather than the often garbled tape collages that encoated previous Evolve albums. Colin Murray again handles beat and synth production, both hardware and software, extensive editing along with lyrics aligned to themes of urban anxieties and the general pressures inherent in surviving an American capitalist society. The breakbeat and electronica styles are deviated from at times with dubstep-influenced production by Surgery Games, and Freak One of Cincinnati's Chemical Committee appears lyrically on several tracks. For anarchists, for people with an interest in magick, for people who need the radical origins of hip hop to be reclaimed and maintained, REALITY GUERRILLA is something to investigate. 62 minute cassette with full color sleeve, 50 copies, self-published April 2011.
